Job Description:

This is your moment to advance your career as a Customer Service Adviser (e-mail & Chat) managing customer queries to ensure a positive customer experience that leads to customer satisfaction and retention.


Resolving customer queries in line with operational policies and procedures.
Establishing customer needs to diagnose and resolve problems.
Using questioning and listening skills to resolve customer queries within stipulated timeframes.
Ensuring all customer queries are acknowledged in a timely manner and customers are kept informed throughout the process.
Promoting client products, services and solutions at all times.
Raising incidents to the appropriate stakeholders providing accurate and relevant information.
Ensuring all accounts identified as high risk accounts are closely monitored and appropriate action is taken promptly.
Making recommendations to management concerning issues that may affect the customer experience.
Maintaining and proactively improving systems, product and competitor knowledge taking applicable action for improvements.
Adhering to schedules to ensure customer service is delivered at the required intervals.
Ensuring accuracy and overall quality of work.
Working within required time frames to ensure the achievement of defined service level agreements.


English first language qualification or similar proven English language skill (Essential).
Advanced computer literacy - ability to speedily navigate various screens and systems effectively (Essential).
Numeracy and business writing skills (Essential).
Clear credit and criminal records.
Minimum 1-years digital experience in web chat and/or email.
Previous work experience within social media department (Desirable).
Strong background in dealing with e-mail correspondence (Highly desirable).
Experience working for an international (offshore) organisation (Highly desirable).
Previous experience in contact center environment (Desirable).
Experience working in a logistics/courier environment (Desirable).
