Qualification Details:

Essential: M.A./M.Sc. in anthropology with specialization in Social/Cultural Anthropology (Other essential qualifications like clearance of NET will be as per the UGC?s latest guidelines).

Desirable: Ph.D and experience in teaching PG courses, especially in 1. Anthropology of Marginalized Communities; 2. Anthropological Field Work; 3. Approaches to Socio-Cultural Change; 4. Introduction to Anthropology.

How to Apply:

The Department of Anthropology desires to fill up 03 (Three) Adhoc Faculty positions (One reserved for S.C and two Unreserved) purely on temporary basis (in the pay scale of Assistant Professor) for the Winter Semester ( 1-01-2017 to 15-05-2017). Candidates eligible (eligibility criteria are given below) for the posts may attend the walk-in interview along with CVs, copies of certificates, and research publications) scheduled on 26-12-2016 (Monday) at 02.30 pm. The Interview will be held at seminar hall of the Department of Anthropology, School of Social Sciences, University of Hyderabad, PO: Central University, Gachibowli, Hyderabad ? 500046 (Telangana). Please note the no TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview. The University reserves the right to cancel the interviews without assigning any reasons and also not to select candidates, if suitable candidates are not found. This appointment is purely temporary and can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason thereof.
