Company Profile:

Tea is one of the industries, which by an Act of Parliament comes under the control of the Union Govt. The genesis of the Tea Board India dates back to 1903 when the Indian Tea Cess Bill was passed. The Bill provided for levying a cess on tea exports - the proceeds of which were to be used for the promotion of Indian tea both within and outside India. The present Tea Board set up under section 4 of the Tea Act 1953 was constituted on 1st April 1954. It has succeeded the Central Tea Board and the Indian Tea Licencing Committee which functioned respectively under the Central Tea Board Act,1949 and the Indian Tea Control Act, 1938 which were repealed. The activities of the two previous bodies had been confined largely to regulation of tea cultivation and export of tea as required by the International Tea Agreement then in force, and promotion of tea Consumption.

Essential Qualification:

1. Qualified CA/CMA with 2years’ post qualification experience.
2. Experience in Accounts Finalizations, MIS Reporting, and Accounts supervision.
3. Excellent command in MS Office with special emphasis on MS Excel.
4. Experience should match with roles and responsibility specified herewith.
5. Through knowledge on operation of Tally ERP 9.
6. Through knowledge of Accounting Standard and Standard Auditing Practices.

Desirable Qualification:

Preference will be given to those having experience in Govt./PSU/Auto nomous Bodies.

Job Responsibilities:

1. To ensure all tax compliances and timely filing of the statutory return relating to taxes.
2. Attend to the tax assessments and statutory authorities in connection with taxation issues as and when required. Reply to the CAG/Internal auditors.
3. Ensure that Internal & External audit requirements are met and proper validation of ccounts & prepare monthly variance report.
4. Preparing periodic financial statements, including Annual Accounts, budgets, cash flows etc.
5. Fixed Assets accounting.
6. GST: ITC accounting & compilation, data required for returns, reconciliation with vendor returns and accounting software installed in all Tea Board offices in India.
7. Bank reconciliation.
8. Ledger scrutiny.
9. Auditing of books of accounts, schemes and other jobs as and when assigned.

Emoluments (Fixed) per month:

Rs. 35,000/- per month.

Age Limit:

Not more than 35 years as on 01.11.2019.
