Company Profile:

The history of Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd., the then Nadar Bank Ltd., dates back to 1921. The thought of establishing a bank under the guidance of the able Nadar business community was mooted out in the Anniversary of Nadar Mahajana Sangam held at Tuticorin in 1920. The proposal was effected soon. The bank was registered on May 11, 1921 as “The Nadar Bank Ltd”.
A group of dedicated men with shrewd acumen and sound integrity had been constituted as Board of Directors and they elected Shri M.V. Shanmugavel Nadar as Chairman on Nov 04, 1921.

Job Description:

Look after the Marketing and Promotion activities related to Alternative Delivery Channel products such as Debit cards, Credit cards, prepaid cards and Internet Banking, Mobile Banking etc.,
Participate in developing a strategy and plan for the effective administration of the existing alternative delivery channels to maintain operational excellence and service delivery.
Maintain Delivery Channel performance metrics based on overall Bank objectives demonstrating Delivery Channels' contribution to the achievement of desired business outcomes.
Monitor, administer, and enhance the Bank's delivery channel infrastructure to improve critical business drivers, minimise costs, increase retail bank market share and maximise uptime and security.
Gather market intelligence and product understanding.
Developing and rolling out of new products in accordance with banks procedure.
Analyse the impact of channel cost for each product and customer segment.
Conduct research to attract new to bank customers and retain existing customers.
Develops profitability models for each delivery channel and preparation of periodic profit and loss estimates.
Ensure security and compliance requirements are built in every delivery channel in liaison with Information Security and Information Technology Department.
Ensure the activities for the various channels abide by the bank’s overall service quality standards.
Oversee all ongoing projects to ensure effective implementation in a timely and cost effective manner.
Campaigns and awareness programme should conducted at regular intervals.

Qualification:

Graduate in IT / Computer Science, Business / Management or Commerce.

Eligibility:

Assistant General Manager / Chief Manager in Public/Private Sector schedule commercial Banks.

Experience:

3 years and above relevant experience in Delivery Channel administration in a bank / financial institution.
Experience with ATMs, POS, Mobile Banking and Internet Banking is highly desirable.

Age Limit:

40 years and above.
