The Raman Research Institute, funded by the Government of India, is a premier institute engaged in research in basic sciences.

Essential Qualifications:

MA in Hindi/English with Hindi/English as a compulsory/elective subject or/as a medium of examination at degree level; OR
MA in any subject with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as compulsory/elective subject at Degree level; OR
MA in any subject with Hindi/English medium and English/Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level; OR
A Bachelor’s degree with Hindi and English as a compulsory/elective subject or either of the two as medium of examination and the other as a compulsory/elective subject plus a recognized Diploma Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice-versa in Central/State Government offices, including Government of India undertakings.
Ability to use computers to compose translated works – through MS Word.

Desirable Qualifications:

2 years of work experience in any Government organization/Central/Autonomous Institutions in similar posts.

Age Limit:

30 years as on the last date for receipt of application (relaxation up to 5 years can be given to those working in relevant filed in Government organization/Central/Autonomous Institutions in similar posts).

Remuneration:

Pay Band-2 i.e Rs.9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs.4200/-. Total emoluments at the minimum of the scale: Rs. 40,500 (approximately) [pay scales as per 7th CPC is under revision].
