Company Profile:

Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) is a Government of India undertaking that was incorporated in 1943. Back then, its business activities included monetary intermediation of commercial banks, saving banks and discount houses. In the year 1951, bank's registered office was relocated to Delhi, from Lahore in Pakistan. In the year 1980, the bank was nationalised. Much later in the year 1992 the bank set up its merchant banking division. In the year 1997 two banks namely Punjab Co–operative Bank and Bari Doab Bank were amalgamated in OBC. Immediate next year the bank collaborated with Citibank to launch a co–branded credit card. In 1999 it set up special branch and asset recovery branch in Mumbai and Delhi.

Job Profile:

The official will be responsible for Leadership Development, Collaborative Learning across the organization, Developing learning pedagogies tailored to the organization measuring the quantum and quality of learning across the organization through various indicators, Develop a Learnability Index for all personnel (i.e. a measure of the ability to learn of an individual) and apply that as an input into promotability, disseminate knowledge throughout the organization and continuously monitor and augment learning and sharing across the organization, inter alia as per the recommendations Of Gopalakrishna Committee on Capacity Building.

Eligibility Details:

The applicant should be Post Graduate-preferably in Economics/Statistics/MBA preferable in Finance Administration from a reputed institute.The applicant must possess minimum 30 years varied experience in Banking/Finance/Administration/Training and should have a flair for teaching including minimum 3 years of experience as faculty / trainer.
Candidates with experience in elite teaching institutions at a very senior level, not below the rank of Principal / Director, will be preferred.

Age Limit:

Minimum Age as on the date of application: 55 years.
Maximum Age as on the date of application: 65 years.

Renumeration:

Consolidated salary of Rs. 1 with annual increase of 125000/- per month will be paid subject to deduction of taxes as applicable.
The CLO shall be entitled for Residence/Phone/Bank's car with petrol and driver for official use as per eligibility of General Manager of our Bank (at present actual usage or 250 liters of petrol whichever is less for use Of Bank Car and reimbursement of 14,000/- p.m. for engaging personal driver).
In case Of travel outstation duty, he will be eligible for travelling & halting allowance as per eligibility of General Manager of the Bank.
