For the 2009-10 academic year, IITH will be admitting 120 B.Tech. students, 35 M.Tech. students and 10-15 Ph.D. students.

Qualification 1.M. Phil in Social Science with 4 years of experience in research management. 
2.M.Sc. in social science, M.B.A. with 6 yrs experience in research management.
Job Profile Research Coordinator 
1.Communicating with Faculty and Research partners. 
2.Selecting and coordinating with field agencies for surveys and data collection. 
3.Coordinating and managing the in-house research team, and other institution collaborators. 
4.Designing research plans and research methodologies. 
5.Ensuring timely delivery of planned research outputs. 
6.Coordinating data collection, data cleaning, analysis, writing reports, and making actionable recommendations. 
7.Managing research studies, from planning to publication. 
8.Providing periodic progress reports of Research & Documentation team to Project Investigators. 
9.Drafting research proposals
