In a very short time, just about a year, IIT Bombay has made significant strides. IIT Bombay admitted the first batch of 111 B.Tech. students, and started functioning on August 20, 2008. Three departments, CSE, EE & ME were initiated. The first year had its highs and lows but was an exciting period that will be etched in the minds of the pioneer batch. In January 2009, IIT Bombay admitted 11 PhD students. On February, 27, 2009, the foundation stone of IIT Bombay was laid by Smt. Sonia Gandhi, Hon'ble Chairperson of UPA. For the 2009-10 academic year, IITH will be admitting 120 B.Tech. students, 35 M.Tech. students and 10-15 Ph.D. students.

Position & Salary Assistant Project Manager (1 Post )
Consolidated salary Rs.40000 - 56000 + Rs.5000.00/- Out Of Campus Allowance (if applicable) p.m.
Qualification MTech/ME/MDes or equivalent degree BTech/BE/MSc/MCA/MBA or equivalent degree with minimum 2 years relevant experience: 
1.Applicant must have prior work experience in project management and handling teams. Should possess excellent analytical and logical skills and good verbal and written communications skills. 
2.Experience in conducting training courses is preferable
Job Profile 1.Driving and co-ordinating various Workshops 
2.Coordinating various Events 
3.Preparing reports and brochures 
4.Preparing quarterly/ Annual Progress Report 
5.Updating of information regarding various events /courses, other contents on NCPRE website 
6.Coordinating with the CEP and Accounts department for the settlement of the Course accounts. 
7.Any other Administration-related activity as requested by the PIs
