Job Description:

The Supply Chain Optimization Technical Analyst is responsibility for design, implementation, and support of reporting solutions for Emerson’s instance of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
The Technical Analyst will utilize knowledge in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) as well as Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) to collaborate with members of Corporate Logistics as well as SCO IT Program/Project Managers in the ongoing implementation, enhancement, and support of OAC & BIP functionality.

Job Responsibilities:

Creation and maintenance of dashboards as well as reports utilizing OAC and BIP for Emerson’s instance of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
Works collaboratively with Corporate Logistics and SCO IT Program/Project Managers to understand program requirements and assist with the evaluation of alternative solutions.
Works closely with hosting and 3rd-party technical personnel to optimize technical infrastructure capabilities and requirements.
Proactively monitors processes to identify trends; analyzes/predicts trends and develops a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring to ensure high service levels.
Ensures documentation is complete and maintained.
Works effectively in a global highly matrixed team environment.

Skills:

1 to 3 years of IT experience, including implementation of OAC within the last year.
BIP Experience.
ODI maintenance and support including customizations and ETL execution.
RPD Support.
Data Modeling.
SQL Experience.
Experience creating and maintaining dashboards.
Report creation & maintenance.
Broad knowledge and experience with various ERP systems.
Strong customer service orientation with strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with presenting to diverse technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization.
Ability to multi-task and work within diverse multi-disciplinary global project teams.
Some travel required.
