Job Details for Fixed Term Engineer - Electronics:

Number of posts: 06 (Six) Post Code: “CHN-ECE”.

Job Profile:

- To assist in Design and Development of electronic / electrical sub system / embedded Hardware and/or
- Quality Assurance of equipments, environmental and reliability evaluation, EMI/EMC evaluation of equipments and handling the environment and EMI/EMC laboratories. Programming ATE and Inspection equipments. and/or
- Testing of PCBs and equipments installation, field testing and participating in trials at customer location.
- Any other job assigned from time to time at any location in India based on the Company’s requirement.
- Job requires extensive travel to customer locations all over India for installation, field testing and trials.

Job Location: 06 posts for Chennai Location.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed fulltime B.E / B.Tech in Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunications / Communication / Telecommunication from a recognized University. General / OBC candidates should have secured FIRST CLASS. SC / ST / PWD candidates should have secured PASS MARKS.

Age limit: Upper age limit is 27 years as on 01.04.2019.

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000-3%-1,40,000. In addition to Basic Pay, other allowances like Dearness allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of the Basic Pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Insurance, Medical facilities, Provident Fund as per the Company's rules will be part of the remuneration package. Approximate CTC is Rs.9.75 Lakhs per annum.

Period of contract: Five years from the date of joining. However, the same may be extended depending on the progress of the project, performance of the candidate and at the discretion of BEL.

Mandatory Experience: Minimum 2 years post qualification experience of Electronics assembly operations and Testing of PCBs, design of electronic systems in Industrial/ Defence Electronics manufacturing / design / industries excluding Graduate Apprenticeship/Training period.

Job Details for Fixed Term Engineer – Mechanical:

Number of posts: 07 (Seven) Post Code: “CHN-MECH”.

Job Profile:

Production Planning & Control:

- Understanding Engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Generating Bill of Materials (BOM) for projects.
- Planning, scheduling and controlling various production activities to ensure completion of projects on time.
- Conducting all business transactions in SAP.
- Monitoring the production progress and follow up with various stakeholders.
- Resolving technical issues and guiding vendors and in-house personnel for proper sequence and selection of optimum process of manufacturing.

Sub Contract:

- Understanding manufacturing processes and identification of suitable vendors.
- Vendor development.
- Tendering, negotiating and finalizing sub contract orders in SAP.
- Follow up with vendors, resolving techno-commercial issues.
- Knowledge on materials and standards.
- Vendor / contract management skills.

Materials Management:

- Planning procurement of materials for projects.
- Tendering, negotiating and finalizing purchase orders in SAP.
- Vendor development and identifying new vendors.
- Maintenance of stores & handling of materials.
- Inventory Management.
- Knowledge on Import / Export procedures.
- Understanding Tax / Duty structure.
- Working with Custom house clearance Agents.
- Conducting all transactions in MM module in SAP.
- Effective Communication (written / oral) with foreign / Local vendors.
- Knowledge on public procurement procedure.
- e-Procurement working knowledge.

Job Location: 07 posts for Chennai Location.

Job Profile: Programming in Embedded C program, Real Time OS, Software coding standard, Software Testing.

Job Location: 02 posts for Chennai Location.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed fulltime B.E / B. Tech in Computer Science / Computer Engineering from a recognized University. General / OBC candidates should have secured FIRST CLASS. SC /ST / PWD candidates should have secured PASS MARKS.
Age limit: Upper age limit is 27 years as on 01.04.2019.
