Company Profile:Air India is the flag carrier airline of India owned by the government run Air India Limited (AIL). The airline operates a fleet of Airbus and Boeing aircraft serving various domestic and international airports. It is headquartered at the Indian Airlines House in New Across India.Air India has two major domestic hubs at Indira Gandhi International Airport and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, secondary hubs at Kolkata International Airport and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. The airline formerly operated a hub at Frankfurt Airport which was terminated on account of high costs.However, another international hub is being planned at the Dubai International Airport.
Methodology of Selection:Service Engineers who have experience of more than 5 years as Service Engineers(Technician) in Aircraft Maintenance activities and retired from the Company will be selected through Interview by the committee formed by General Manager(Engineering), Eastern Region, Kolkata, based on their qualifications, satisfactory service and past records of service and willingness to work for general services and as per the requirement of the company.
Upper Age Limit:65 year. Preferences will be given to recently retired personnel.
Terms of Engagement:The candidate selected for appointment to the above contractual job subject to being medically fit, will be paid a consolidated amount Rs.35000/-(all inclusive) as monthly remuneration. Engagement of Contract Service will be on ad-hoc basis for 6 months and extendable further, as per requirement.
